If you are looking to seriously switch up your career path, Nouveau Contour Hawaii Academy of Permanent Cosmetics is a great place to start. I took the Brows Only Fundamental Course Program back in July 2018, which was about a week long. I had two other classmates, which was really nice in getting more one on one/focused training.

The academy environment here is positive and well put together. Edine, Shannen, and Bri are professional and well educated with years of experience in permanent cosmetics.

While the learning curve can be challenging and transitioning into something new can be uncomfortable, this academy is there to help you along the way.

If you are really considering a change in career and are willing to put in the time to learn and dedicate yourself to something new, I highly recommend Nouveau Contour Hawaii.

Nouveau Contour is great and is a game changer. I took the fundemental full face course for 2 weeks .The instructor, Edine makes sure that you understand what she is teaching you, she breaks everything down and even teaches you on a personal level. I have done nothing but retail jobs and Edine, Shannen and Bri has changed my mindset, that I can do something outside my comfort zone. I also have no cosmetology or esthetic experience, so this is something different for me. AND I do plan on taking the advance courses and also, take the Para-Medical course.

Great instructors and great education.

I got my eyebrows and eyeliner done by Edine 15 years ago and have been going to her for retouches ever since. She listened to what I wanted and showed true professionalism while providing a caring demeanor. She inspired me to want to learn her trade and hopefully provide that same service for other people one day. Last year, I finally found the time to take her class and I was not disappointed. After the class was over, she offered an extended apprenticeship program which I have completed as well. I am currently trying to start up my own permanent cosmetics business, and although its rough, I know she won't abandon me if I still need help.

The Nouveau Contour Hawaii Academy has led me to become successful in something that I have always loved, Makeup. I am 21 years old and work a full-time job as a certified micro-pigmentation specialist. I completed my Basic fundamental course in 2017 and have since then been continuing my education with the academy learning advanced techniques and receiving mastery certifications. I absolutely love my job. Most people are surprised when they learn how old I yet see how knowledgable I am in my line of work. I give all the credit to the wonderful education I received at the Nouveau Contour Hawaii Academy. Edine is an amazing teacher she gives so much information. It's amazing to sit with her and pick at her brain. She never fails to give me an overload of information to my questions for she not only teaches by a book but she is teaching upon 25+ years of personal experience. I now assist at the academy and believe truly in the detailed curriculum and education that this school is giving to those who choose to pursue permanent cosmetics in our community.

This academy is the answer if you're looking for a serious career change. I've been in the makeup industry for 15 years and decided to switch it up a bit. I googled "Permanent makeup school Hawaii" and found a handful of traveling classes 2-4 days in length and Nouveau Contour Hawaii. I sent a text to the school, asking for more information and got a super quick response time. After going over what courses they offered, I ended up enrolling in their fundamental course which was the best decision I could've made heading into a career change. Edine, the founder/educator is amazing at her job. We're a few days into the course but I've learned so much, going over every single detail when it comes to micro-pigmentation.

Getting into something brand new and out of your comfort zone can be a very, very scary experience. Edine, Shannen Bri makes you feel comfortable and right at home. Since the classes are 2 people minimum, 4 people max, you'll get the right amount of attention and guidance. You can't get that kind of training in a 20+ people workshop! If you're considering seriously switching up your career, I highly recommend signing up at Nouveau Contour Hawaii.
